Stable Disc

Why is corner very important? it is because the corner disc can't and will never be flipped until the game ended. This disc that can't be flipped called to be determined or stable disc

is the corner the only stable disc? The answer is no. Every neighbouring discs around the corner of the same colored will also be a stable disc(s) if the opponent can't flip it through the rest of the game. The more stable disc a player has, the higher chances of winning the game are, since the disc will stay at his/her color until the game ends. A stable disc and the expansion around neighbouring discs will make the bigger opportunuty to win.

Example of a stable disc and the expansion.
